(Marriage Ministry)
“Marriage and
Power” for God’s
couples
This ministry
tool is designed to
help Christians understand
the Biblical principles
concerning marriage
and how it can be applied
to everyday life. These
marriage enrichment
sessions address the
following needs: The
need for oneness/individuality
in the marriage relationship;
the need to discover
biblical principles
for handling conflict,
anger, and to learn
skills in applying these
principles; the need
to understand intimacy
and sexual issues; the
need for a definition
of love that is not
secular, but bible-based;
the need to develop
patterns of communication
that build intimacy
and lead to ministry.
Singles
Ministry (singles, divorced,
separated, widowed,
single parents)
Singles ministry is
a ministry that provides
spiritual and educational
resources to help admonish,
heal, and encourage
the single population
of all ages. It addresses
such issues as self-esteem,
emotional wellness,
building relationships,
financial stability,
career matters, and
Christian commitment.

Y.E.S.
(Youth Empowerment Sessions)
Ministry for
youth/teens (Ages 9-11;
12-17)
Y.E.S.
stands for youth empowerment
sessions. This ministry
challenges youth to
develop their full potential
as Christians. (spiritually,
mentally, socially,
emotionally, and educationally)
It also ministers to
the special needs and
interests of today’s
youth using relevant
bible-based and positive
resources.

 S.O.S.
(Souls on Saturday)
S.O.S.
is an outreach evangelism
ministry that is implemented
on the weekend. This
tool is designed to
bring answers to the
cries of the destitute,
wounded, and unfortunate.
Some of the avenues
that we use to provide
outreach witnessing
are: street witnessing,
community prayer walks
in drug-related neighborhoods,
Gospel block parties,
Gospel skating parties,
and outdoor forums that
provide educational
resources, STD testing,
and fun fellowship activities.

“Behind
the Walls” Ministry
(Prison Ministry)
This aspect
of evangelism is utilized
by sharing Christian
media such as tracts,
magazines, books, tapes,
CD’s and DVD’s
with the prison population.
Our objective is to
share the plan of salvation
and to bring encouragement
behind the prison walls.

Holiday
Outreach
On the
Christmas and Thanksgiving
holidays, we share food/gifts
and spread holiday cheer
with several unfortunate
families. Most of the
families are given through
the Social Services
programs as well as
other non-profit agencies
that need help in meeting
the needs of the family.

Nursing
Home Ministry
We provide
worship services to
uplift, encourage, and
share fellowship. In
this ministry, we “adopt
a patient” in
which we may help provide
toiletries and personal
gifts for a patient
that does not have adequate
family support. Our
ministry team represents
their “family
away from home”.

This course
is a wealth-building
course that will promote
prosperity in every
area of your life. In
these classes that are
held monthly, we provide
insight, information
and relevant teaching
on: Prosperity mindset
versus Poverty mindset
(building esteem to
understand that success
in life is based on
biblical principles),
Budgeting (Developing
personal financial skills
to better manage your
financial future), Understanding
money management tools
such as checking and
savings accounts (Proper
procedure of opening
such accounts, and activities
in using and managing
these accounts), Building
better credit (Understanding
banking institutions,
finance companies, credit
reports, over-extension
of credit, and how to
repair your credit).

Basic
Skills Class
In this
program, you can earn
a High School Equivalency
Diploma. (GED) The class
helps improve reading,
writing, and math skills
so that greater doors
of opportunity can become
an obtainable goal.

“Project
Uplift”
Collaboration
with two community developmental
agencies has birthed
this program which is
an 8-week training course
for men and women. This
training involves teaching
basic construction skills,
financial literacy education,
and technical assistance
for families who wish
to achieve self-sufficiency
and build assets. It
is a course designed
for low-income residents
who are between the
ages of 18-44 years
of age. The clients
must have a household
income that is below
the Federal Poverty
guidelines or personal
income must fall below
eighty percent of the
area median income.
Project uplift gives
these clients another
chance in the job arena.

Family
Conference
This conference
is usually held in the
spring of the year.
There are seminars,
workshops, worship services
and fun activities for
the whole family to
enjoy and participate
in. The objective for
this gathering is to
educate, cultivate,
and nurture the needs
of today’s family.

Praise
and Worship Workshop
This
ministry is geared to
train psalmists, choirs,
musicians, and praise
and worship teams the
art of biblical praise
and worship. In this
workshop there are many
facets: vocal techniques,
choir ministry/decorum,
biblical origin of music,
anointing versus entertainment,
submission to authority,
instrumental workshop,
and the songwriter’s
class.
